'Unknown Planets' OUT NOW! in free download !!!

I'm happy and proud to announce 'Unknown Planets' compilation by Planet Terror Records is out now !!
Planet Terror Records is a netlabel based in Sheffield, UK dealing with the most diverse styles and moods. Let me introduce them to you by quoting themselves : Planet Terror Records is a netlabel. The ethos is to share our music with the world on a strictly non-profit basis. Our sole aim is to spread the love.

Good music is good music, no matter the genre or style. We are committed to spreading the sounds of unsigned talent.

Their fifth release is made from music coming from every corner of the Europe. All the tracks are really worth listening, but I'll highlight two of them in particular. 'Mr Morningstar' is a tune by Titus Twelve from Bristol, and it sounds like Jahtari meets Skream! And then there's a dub number by Kindread. He's from Italy and the tune is called 'Kin Vibration' and trust, you could easily mistake this for some Vibronics tune. Its a song made to feed the scoop bins so watch out your subwoofer!!

Archive.org is providing the link to download this release, which is provided in full quality 320kbit MP3 format, so you got no excuse to start exploring those 'Unknown Planets' !!

M-A-W, Mixtape A Week IV

After a long delay, I came up across another great mix. It takes time to dig into quality stuff and when I find it I'm the first to be hyped up about it. For the fourth installment of Mixtape A Week I selected DJ Shiva's 'Singularity Sky' mix. As you will be listening to it, she is gonna take you on a trip which will keep your eye out of focus but your ears really entertained and constantly teased about the next bleep which will be coming. A crescendo in electronic atmospheres and tension, relentless and ruff. The music featured in is heavily resequenced and post processed with Ableton Live: DJ Shiva's weapon of choice. By the way there are other 'artistic' meanings of the mix behind it but I want to let you discover it by yourself. Or then, ask her directly, she's very down-to-earth and nice person to talk with! Here's the tracklist to keep you teased and then the download link. Dont forget to check her own blog featuring interviews and informative articles about other artists -> here.

Liquid Concept - Yet another 17sons smasher

Here we come with another 17sons recordings disaster-making-heavy-bomb like the one below! :D I like this work very much! Love the concept of sounds used in different ways like this artist has done, check all the tracks and feel the development of ideas in its inner mind, its a beautiful process indeed and it comes up very danceable and nothing like other danceish things! Definitely a must have! It was difficult to pick a track to insert in my own selection, which I plan to be one album-one track thing. My choice went finally on Brutish which I find to be a club monstah!

Ataraxia Rebel Force - A trip through the tube

Here we are with our first featured free music release. Licensed under CCs, fresh new sparkling urban dance music. What you got after downloading onto your hard disk is a perpetual moving evolving minimal tech funk little monster. If you're also a DJ than a listener you should consider putting this EP in your v-flightcase. Its never easy to choose a track to put in the main playlist when you deal with such quality material. The chosen one is "Lick me" for being outstanding with its experimentalist edge. Maybe its the less dancefloor oriented track, but for sure it will get in you in brain/chair dancing if you havent still got this fever...
